1967 Born at Aurich, East Friesland, Germany, the son of
merchant-ship captain Peter Carl Heeren and his wife Almut
Heeren, née Westerbuhr.
1986 Martriculation at the Luebeck academy of music, to
study church music (class of Prof. Martin Haselboeck).
1991 Advancement scholarship from the Possehl Legacy.
1992 Martriculation for the subjekt of composition at the
Luebeck acadamy of music. Class Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Doehl,
elektronic music by Prof. Dirk Reith.
First prize for a composition for harpsichord. ("Fuenf
Stuecke for Cembalo", published by Universal Edition AG)
1993 Engagement as cantor and organist in Marne,
Schleswig-Holstein.
